コメディアータとは
ユーモアの町として知られるウクライナのオデーサでは、エイプリールの4月1日が、祝日となっています。こんな町は世界でここだけでしょう。この日に合わせて、オデーサで生まれたクラウン集団『マスキ』と、長年ウクライナの国立サーカス学校クラウン課で指導、数々の名クラウンを育てたウラジーミル・クリューコフが、協力して2010年に始めたのが『コメディアーダ』という国際クウランフェスティバルです。毎年手弁当で世界中からクラウンたちが集まり、ユーモアの町で「笑いで平和」をキャッチフレーズにフェスティバルを開催しています。2018年と19年にはクラウンパレードの中心メンバー三雲いおり、なななが日本から参加しました。2020年からコロナと戦争のためにフェスティバルは中断されています。
クラウンパレードプロジェクト代表大島幹雄とは
1953年生まれ、40年間サーカスやクラウンを招聘する仕事に携わるほか、『サーカスと革命』、『海を渡ったサーカス芸人』、『明治のサーカス芸人はなぜロシアで消えたか』、『サーカス学誕生』、『日本の道化師』などサーカスやクラウンに関するノンフィクションや研究書を多数出版してきた。2019年に招聘の仕事から引退、あらたにサーカス学会を設立、会長に就任、サーカスを学問のひとつとして確立させ、さらにはサーカス文化やサーカスの魅力を発信するための活動を行っている。
